Tulle or not to Tulle..........
I think tulle can make anything fancier for a little girl! If you have a girly, girl tulle is a requirement! My daughter loves the Fancy Nancy books and we have strived to make her room represent Nancy's over-the-top room. When we had the kid's princess / super hero party I bought an unbelievable amount of pink tulle. The Tulle Shop offers wholesale tulle for cheap so I was able to get hundreds of yards for next to nothing so every little girl that has a birthday that we know will be getting a tutu and a bow holder for the next 20 years until there is no more pink tulle left.

Sharpied to Glam!
When my daughter was 2 or 3 her great-grandma got her a beautiful bistro table. Well she is 7 now and after years of use and a 4 year old brother and a Sharpy the table was not pretty. My husband and I talked about refinishing it because it is so adorable, but then I found a picture on Pinterest where someone had decoupaged and used polyurethane to seal. WHAT A GREAT IDEA! So I did it with lots of help from my Cricut. It has a fun look now and the chairs are being recovered to update the faded/stained material.

Chores
With a 7 and a 4 year old it is time for some help around here. It seems like a great time to start teaching them the responsibility of chores, allowance and tithing. So of course we had to make something cute to get it started. It's amazing how a child with do anything to make an "X" on a chart......that works for me! I found the sheets here.
For the frame:
For the frame:
- I got a wood frame with no backing and no glass from Walmart.
- I wrapped the frame with ribbon and tied it off.
- Used cardboard for the backing
- Page protector over the chore sheet to be used with a dry erase marker
- I tacked the cardboard to the back of the frame
- Tacked the ribbon to the back of the frame to create a handle to put over a nail
- Added some cute embellishments
What's for Dinner?
